FT: MANCHESTER UNITED 1-1 STOKE CITY
The full-time whistle goes, Stoke City have avoided defeat at Old
Trafford for the first time in 36 years.
Joe Allen grabbed the visitors a point with a close-range finish
into an empty net late on, but the real hero for Mark Hughes'
men is Lee Grant. Had it not been for the in-form goalkeeper,
the Red Devils would have been out of sight by half time.
Those missed chances will haunt Manchester United during the
international break, particularly after they thought substitute
Anthony Martial had clinched all three points with his 69th-
minute strike.
