Samsung Temporarily Stops Making of Galaxy Note 7 Phones Because of Continuous Fire Incidents

Even the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone units that are deemed "safe" by Samsung is also catching fire so South Korean media is reporting that Samsung has temporarily stopped production of Galaxy Note 7 devices
"The halt is in cooperation with consumer safety regulators from South Korea, the United States and China," said an official at a supplier for Samsung. "This measure includes a Samsung plant in Vietnam that is responsible for global shipments (of the Galaxy Note 7)," they said.
Samsung previously recalled all sold
Galaxy note 7 devices and replaced them with the ones they claimed were "safe" but in the last few days, about 4 incidents of the safe units catching fire has been reported. Among them is the
one that happened on airplane

In addition, all the Big Four carriers in the US (as well as Australian carrier Telstra) have also suspended sales of handset.
This one is big money, big trouble.
